Our Division is sponsoring the Major Degree to be held October 13, 2012 We are honored to have the Brian Boru Degree Team from Virginia come to Ocean City to perform the ceremonies. (The Virginia Degree Team has conducted the Degree at the National AOH Convention! ) The Major Degree is the highest degree a Hibernian can receive and provides the lessons that can help members be better Irish Catholics. The Major Degree is available to be conferred on all members of the Ancient Order of Hibernians who have received the Shamrock Degree (initiated members) and are current in their dues. We are [roud to host this Degree in Ocean City. The degree team will travel from several parts of Virginia to confer the Degree in Ocean City.
The Degree will be conducted at 12:00 p.m. with on-site registration at 11:00 noon, and pre-registration is available. (Please see registration form.) The cost of the Degree is $45 and includes a post-Degree reception with refreshments from 3:00-4:30 p.m. Registration for observers who already possess the Major Degree is $15 observe the degree and participate in the reception that follows. This reception is open only to those who hold the Major Degree.
Over 55 eligible Shamrock-Degreed members are in our Division and
we hope you will plan on receiving the Degree.
Qualified members from around this region, as well as Pennsylvania, Maryland, the District of Columbia, Virginia are invited to register for this exciting weekend with the total number of candidates expected to exceed 70.
Weekend festivities will include various social gatherings, the Degree, itself (open only to candidates and registered, degreed-observers), and an evening of Irish entertainment for all Hibernians and their friends, and acquaintances of every nationality!

We will partake in some Irish cultural experiences via an evening of music and entertainment along with food, beer, wine, and mixers (for those who wish to BYOB). The cost of the Saturday evening event will be $45 per person.
